DEN vs SAS Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Denver Nuggets showed how good they can be and how formidable the duo of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray really can be and really is when the Western Conference’s 2nd seeded team routed San Antonio Spurs 108-90 at Pepsi Center.
Murray scored 23 points, and had 7 assists and 4 rebounds, while Jokic had another double-double, ending the match with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

But it was their understanding on the court which caught everybody’s eyes. Their ability to pick each other with defense piercing passe, drawing the defenders off to create space for the other, it was really easy on the eye.
“Their chemistry is almost romantic,” Nuggets head-coach Michael Malone said after the match.
“They care about each other, they love each other. They play for each other. That’s when we’re at our best.”
However, it was just not about the chemistry between Murray and Jokic, but for the first time in this series, Nuggets played like a 2nd seeded Western Conference team. They outplayed Spurs in almost all the departments, never giving the visitors breathing space.

Gregg Popovich has a job on his hands to ready his troops for the crunch Game-6. He also needs to address Spurs’ incapacitated defense which was all over the place in the last game.
But Spurs’ stronghold, which is their three-point shooting, undid them in game-5 as they could convert just 7 of their 24 shots from beyond the arc.
Regular Season Record-
San Antonio Spurs: W-48, L-34
Denver Nuggets: W-54, L-28
Players to watch out for:
San Antonio Spurs:
DeMar DeRozan – Spurs are having quite a post-season. They are running Denver Nuggets close despite being a clear gulf between both the teams. DeMar DeRozan’s performance is the reason why Spurs now have a genuine chance of producing a real shock here. The former Toronto Raptors star is averaging 23.3 in the playoffs this season.
LaMarcus Aldridge – Spurs’ most consistent player this season without a splinter of a doubt. The 33-year-old Center has racked up points at 21.3 in the 2018-19 regular season.
Denver Nuggets:
Nikola Jokic – Nikola Jokic is a player who is primed to win a super-max contract. For he has been carrying his team all the season, in the playoffs as well. How critical he is can be seen by the fact that Gregg Popovich has employed two players on him in this series, forcing Denver’s other players to have a go from the perimeter.
He has averaged 20.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game in the regular season. The big Serbian remains Nuggets’ best player by some stretch.
Jamal Murray – The 22-year-old is certainly in a very good form as this season. He is Nuggets’ 2nd best player in the offensive department, averaging 17.8 points per game in the postseason.
