DEN vs MEM Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Denver Nuggets start their two-game road trip with an away game against Memphis Grizzlies at FedEx Forum, in downtown Memphis, Tennessee on Tuesday morning (IST).
Memphis Grizzlies:
The Grizzlies were finally out of their misery as they snapped their 8-game skid, and that too in front of their own fans. How big this achievement was could be seen from the noise made by some 15,980 fans inside the FedEx Forum.
As soon as Marc Gasol buried a three-pointer to put his team 12 points clear with just 02:09 remaining in the match, Mike Conley Jr. jumped in joy and put his arms around Gasol.
Grizzlies won the match 106-103 against a shorthanded Pacers who were without Victor Oladipo and lost him for the entire season with a knee injury.
Denver Nuggets:
Nikola Jokic marked his return from one-game suspension with a triple-double and Denver Nuggets beat a depleted Philadelphia 76ers 126-110 at Pepsi Center. It was his seventh triple-double of the season as Nuggets won their second consecutive game.
The Sixers decided to give their leading scorer Joel Embiid the night off. It was a bit harsh on the fans who were craving for the showdown between Jokic and Embiid.
Nuggets’ Serbian star missed his team’s blowout 132-95 win over Phoenix Suns for leaving the bench during an altercation in Utah earlier in the week. The 23-year-old scored 17 of his 32 match points in the first quarter alone, and he finished with a match figure of 32 points, 10 assists and 18 rebounds.
Nuggets will hope to have their first starting line-up back for his game as Jamal Murray missed the last match with a sprain in his left ankle.
