DAL vs LAL Dream11: NBA is wheeling towards the Playoffs and we are in for a wild ride once again, as is usually the case during the Postseason. As we gear for the Playoffs, the run for the title will be closer to us with each day. In the Western Conference, the Phoenix Suns have indicated that they are the team to beat and no one can even come close to them at this point in terms of the Regular Season record. There are some interesting Play-in tournament battles going on and the Los Angeles Lakers are also in that territory. They will take on the Dallas Mavericks here.
The Mavericks have been playing some inspirational basketball since December and due to that, they have risen up the ranks with each month. With Luka Doncic running the show and a strong defense, you got to be wary of this team during the Postseason.
The Lakers have been hovering in the Play-in tournament sphere but their chances have taken some hit with the injury to LeBron aggravating with each day. Largely because he has been asked to carry the major burden for the team and things are becoming more and more painful for the fanbase.

NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
The Mavericks come into the contest after beating the Jazz 114:100 as Doncic dropped 32 points
The Mavericks are solidifying their case to finish at the fourth spot this season and they have been doing a great job of shutting down opponents after opponents. Their season has been headlined by a terrific defensive effort that usually picks up late in the game and with Doncic closing out as an ace scorer, it is difficult to deal with this team. Brunson and Dinwiddie have been terrific supporters at the Point Guard positions for the team. On the other hand, Reggie Bullock will be huge in the Playoffs as his defense is consistent but his shot can be off. Dorian Finney-Smith, Maxi Kleber, and Dwight Powell are a force in the frontline, doing a great job on the defensive end and also clamping down boards. So, how will the Mavs respond during the Postseason?
The Lakers blew a 20+ points lead in the last game versus the Pelicans and lost 108:116 despite LeBron’s almost 40 points night.
The Lakers are in danger of falling off from the Play-in tournament contention. The Spurs are right behind them and they have played a much better brand of basketball lately. Meanwhile, the Pelicans have also brisked ahead and look well-equipped to crack the code to make the Play-in tournament. The Lakers have heavily depended upon LeBron and carrying all that load has only exacerbated his injury. Westbrook has gotten a lot of flak from fans and critics but his play has been solid lately, as he continues to be an all-around presence. Malik Monk has continued to be effective but Carmelo Anthony has been a bit up-and-down. Wenyen Gabriel has done well while Howard has given decent minutes but more is needed out of Talen-Horton Tucker. However, overall, the team needs much more on the defensive end and the ability to close out games.
