Like the USA, Serbia started the campaign in China as one of the favorites to lift the coveted title. But even an NBA-laden star cast couldn’t help the team beyond the quarters after the team went down in a shocking 87-97 defeat to Argentina in the last eight.

But the world no-04 can still end the campaign on high as Nikola Jokic and co can clinch a face-saving 5th position.
