CHA vs NOP Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
The last match was truly short on both star power and the talent we usually see in the NBA. The talent, the proven one, which doesn’t need a token of one-match performance. The reason is the big injury list both New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers have been enduring of late.
There was no Anthony Davis, no Jrue Holiday against the Lakers, while the Showtime were without LeBron James and Brandon Ingram.
Pelicans lost the game 102-130 and it hardly came as a surprise considering the team’s form and position on the table. But the opponents haven’t been tearing the teams apart as well and were shorthanded by some degrees. So you can sense the situation New Orleans are in these days.
The Pelicans had 5 dunks in last night's game!

The long protracted saga of Anthony Davis is expected to see its end in the summer. He will leave a big hole on Pelicans’ roster as there are not many players of his caliber. But the team will be better off without an unhappy player on their roster and build for the future with the astute approach both in the transfer market and NBA draft 2019.
There are few players already who are giving the fans a cause for optimism. Julius Randle is a good forward player, while Christian Wood is emerging as a very good prospect.
Charlotte Hornets, meanwhile, are seeing their playoff hopes fading away with each passing game. Better say with each negative result.
Yes, Hornets were in with a chance to make into the top-8 after winning four straight games, trimming down the gap on top eight to just one game.
But Hornets couldn’t keep up the momentum and saw their winning streak snapped up by the Los Angels Lakers. While the last two defeats came against Golden State Warriros and Utah Jazz respectively.

As a result, Hornets now find themselves three games adrift of the playoff spots. With just five games remaining in the regular season, the top-8 may just be too far.
Regular Season Record-
New Orleans Pelicans: W-32, L-46
Charlotte Hornets: W-35, L-42
Players to watch out for:
New Orleans Pelicans:
Julius Randle – With both Anthony Davis and Jrue Holiday missing out the action with injuries recently, Julius Randle has been doing the bulk of the scoring. In fact, the 24-year-old is scoring at almost 24 points per game in the last 10 matches, which is significantly higher than his career average of 15.3 points per game. He has certainly made a name for himself, and perhaps a player to take this franchise forward when Davis leaves the team in the coming off-season.
Christian Wood – His inclusion has been a welcome development for New Orleans Pelicans. With Nikola Mirotic leaving and Anthony Davis on a minutes restriction, the 23-year-old power forward is enjoying substantial minutes on the court these days, and his talent is there to see. He racked up the first double-double of his career against Los Angeles Lakers.
Charlotte Hornets:
Kemba Walker – He was absolutely world class against Utah Jazz, scoring an insane 47 points. If there is one player who could in the “most underrated player in NBA”, Kemba Walker my just walk out as a clear-cut winner. He has been quite phenomenal all season and was duly rewarded with an All-Star call-up. The 28-year-old is averaging a team-high 25.2 points per game and 5.9 assists per game.
Jeremy Lamb – Scored 23 points against in the last game against Utah Jazz. He normally features from the bench but still boasts the team’s 2nd best points per game stats for Hornets. The 26-year-old shooting guard is scoring at 15.1 points per game.

CHA vs NOP Dream11 Fantasy Team:
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Those three defeats have certainly dampened the mood in the Charlotte Hornets’ camp. But there is still a slight chance for Hornets to make into the top-8, and to do that, they must win games. What’s a better opportunity to start than to do it against a struggling New Orleans Pelicans.
A win for the visitors is our call.
