Philadelphia 76ers will look to extend their four-game winning run when they host Boston Celtics in a battle between two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference regular season match at Wells Fargo Center Philadelphia, in Philadelphia, on Thursday morning (IST).

Bucks were favorite in that match, and all that for their incredible home form all season, which was 27-5 prior to that match.

But it was Embiid’s Sixers who recorded a statement win on the road, winning the match 125-130 behind his monster 40 points and 15 rebounds display. This could be a one-off game but to win an away game at the home of your closest rival, may give the whole team an unparalleled belief going into the business end of the season.

With the win, the 76ers improved their season record to 45-25, and remain 3rd in the Eastern Conference.

Boston Celtics, meanwhile, are still a few games away from securing a playoff berth. As things stand, they are 5th in the Eastern Conference with a 43-28 record in the regular season.

The Greens went down against Denver Nuggets 105-114 at TD Garden.

Kyrie Irving led the charge for this team, scoring a game-high 30 points. Al Horford, who was doubtful before the match, scored 20 points.

Tobias Harris – The inclusion of former Los Angeles Clippers has made Philadelphia 76ers a super-team in the Eastern Conference. He has lived up to his billings, racking up the team’s 2nd best numbers since switching his loyalties in the mid-season. The forward is averaging 19.3 points per game.

Boston Celtics:
Kyrie Irving – The Superstar point guard is more than capable of leading his team all the way towards the ultimate glory. He is a winner having won the NBA crown with Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. Celtics will hope that the 26-year-old continues to perform at a level he can in every game. He is leading the Greens with 23.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game. In the last three matches, he has scored at least 30 points in each game.

Kyrie Irving has recorded at least 30 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists in each of his last two games. The last @celtics player to reach each of those marks in consecutive games was Larry Bird on Feb. 13 & 14, 1986.

Jayson Tatum – The young prodigy is Boston Celtics’ 2nd best player in terms of points per game and in other parameters as well. The 21-year-old is averaging 16.0 points per game, and 6.2 rebounds per game for the Greens in the 2018-19 season.
