BOS vs CHA Dream11, NBA Pre-season 2019, Prediction and Fantasy Team News

Pre-season gets underway for Boston Celtics and Charlotte Hornets with both the teams looking to take the momentum to 2019-20 NBA regular season.

Celtics made a terrific start to the 2018-19 season when they notched up crucial wins against top teams, enjoying a view from the top in the first few months.

Because of the good start and a couple of short winning sequences were enough to propel the team into the post-season, but then failing to touch the 50-win mark, was a big disappointment.

The 4-0 win over a shorthanded Indiana Pacers in the first round of the playoffs hid the team’s depth and the true potential, which were gaped open by Milwaukee Bucks in their 4-1 win over them in the conference semifinals.

The 17-time Champions were too inconsistent throughout the last season to challenge the big teams for the title

This will be a critical season for Brad Stevens, and the first thing he has to sort out is the team’s chemistry.

What to expect from Celtics and Hornets in the coming season:

Celtics must aim for +50 wins this season and it should be the minimum target for Brad Stevens. The roster looks a bit deep this season due to the addition of top players who should form the 2nd unit. But the departure of Al Horford and Aron Baynes has left Celtics a bit short in the Center.

Still, the playoffs should be the achievable target for the 17-time champions, and beyond that should be seen as a sign of future success.

For Charlotte Hornets, even emulating the last season’s 39-43 record will be seen as a step in the right direction after the franchise lost their biggest star Kemba Walker to Boston Celtics. But their always a ray of hope and for Hornets, it’s the first-round draft picks for 2020. If recruited well, the franchise can become a force in the next two or three years.
