Teams from either conference collide as Brooklyn Nets travel to face Oklahoma City Thunder in the regular season of the NBA on Wednesday.

Brooklyn Nets are in the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference and have been uber impressive so far. The side has been defying expectations with their playstyle and have been successful as well. The franchise doesn’t exactly have a star in their ranks and have a lot of young hungry players looking to make their mark, and it is clear that if given some more time, they can turn into superstars. They are positioned strongly to book their berth in the playoffs and will be eyeing an even better in the post-season.

Meanwhile, Oklahoma City Thunder are in the fourth spot in the Western Conference table and are clearly the dark horse of the entire NBA. They have been a great side all season long, and with two players who can be an MVP of the league, any given year, in Russell Westbrook and Paul George, the roster is filled with players who are aware of their role. This just could be the year for the franchise to break the mould and challenge for the title, and it will be interesting to see if the players are going to be delivering on their potential.

Spencer Dinwiddie – He has been the sixth man for the team for a while this season and has already proven to be someone who can be a leader for this young side. He is averaging 17.4 points per game.

Oklahoma City Thunder:

Paul George – He is one of the only three players in the league who is going to be winning the MVP of the League award, and has been in sensational form. His average for the season is 28.2 points per game along with 8.2 rebounds.

Russell Westbrook – The triple-double machine can easily be the best player in the world, but he sacrifices himself for the winning cause of the team. He is averaging 23.1 points per game along with 11 rebounds and 11 assists.
