They have improved a lot from last season, and to some extent, have exceeded expectations as well. But the good work Nets have done up until now depends on how they fare in the last 23 games.

The real danger comes from Orlando Magic, Charlotte Hornets, and Miami Heat. As things stand, 9th placed Hornets are 2 and half games away from them. So a negative streak till the end of the season cpould prove fatal for their real ambitions.

But Brooklyn have a benign fixture list in the next three matches and should aim for a 100% return.

Dallas Mavericks:
Dallas are on a slump all season. They lost 111-81 to Memphis Grizzlies in the last game. They remained 13th in the Eastern Conference with a 27-35 record.

Luka Doncic still managed to have an impact in the match and ended up scoring a game-high 22 points. The 20-year-old yung prodigy deserves more for his efforts but the team is lacking in quality in the other department, and that shows on the results.

Spencer Dinwiddie – His contribution has gone under the radar a bit, but the 25-year-old is a player with a two way approach. He has scored points at a career-high 17.0 per game this season.

Luka Doncic – The favorite for the rookie of the year, Luka Doncic has taken the whole NBA fraternity by the storm. The 2018-19 season is Doncic’s first season in NBA but the talent and the calmness he exudes in his play is beyond commendable. He is averaging a team-high 21.0 points per game.

Tim Hardaway Jr. – Previously with New York Knicks, he joined the team midway in the season. The 26-year-old is in very good form actually having scored in the 20s in five of the last seven games.
