BAH vs IND Dream11: India national Basketball team kick-start its FIBA Asia Cup 2021 qualifying campaign with an away game against Bahrain at Manama, Khalifa Sports City on Friday evening (IST). India has qualified for the Asia Cup 25 times in the past but are yet to bring home a medal. The Men in Blue lost all three games in the last Asia Cup and were knocked out in the first round. The Indian national Basketball team is ranked 74th in the FIBA World Rankings.
Bahrain, on the other hand, have played in only 8 Asia Cup competitions, and have never made past the group stage. They couldn’t qualify for the ast two editions, in 2015, and 2017. They are ranked 114 in the world.

Indian head coach Veselin Matic expects good Indian support in the stands for this game. “The support of the fans can boost the players to perform above their capacity. The Bahraini fans will be in full force and the Indian supporters may not match in numbers but will be pressing for their team. This is what will make this contest a fascinating affair,” said the Serbian coach Matic.
