Los Angeles Clippers will be aiming for their 3rd consecutive win when they host a struggling Atlanta Hawks in an NBA match at Staples Center, in Los Angeles, on Tuesday morning (IST).

Lou Williams scored a triple-double from the bench and Los Angeles Clippers beat Chicago Bulls 106-101 at United Center. The 32-year-old scored a match-high 31 points and also added 10 points and 10 rebounds to his effort.

Bulls were leading the game 97-96 in the fourth quarter. But Patrick Beverley’s defensive job on Lauri Markkanen allowed Williams to score four points in quick succession, and Clippers led 100-97. Zach LaVine soon converted a basket to cut the deficit to 100-99 with 1:26 left, but Beverley responded with his own Basket and put Clippers ahead at 102-99 with 37.8 seconds remaining in the match.

There was no drama in the match and Clippers closed out their four-game away run with three wins and one loss. The results helped them remain at 8th in Western Conference with a 27-22 record so far in the season.

Atlanta Hawks, on the other hand, lost 111-120 against the Portland Trail Blazers. There were some positives to take from the game though.

Trae Young scored a game-high 30 points and also had 8 assists, while John Collins added 21 points to his efforts.
