TUR vs SER Dream11: FIBA Men’s Qualifiers has begun in a great fashion and this makes for an awesome viewing all-around, as we have a ton of world-class players on display. This will also be the case when Turkey takes on Serbia in the European Qualifiers.
Turkey’s defense got overwhelmed by Latvia and Kristaps Porzingis in the previous game, losing 85:111 despite multiple players scoring in double-figures.
On the other hand, Serbia rode the hot-hand of Nikola Jokic, who put up 29 points and enabled them to scrap a 100:94 win despite a 40-points performance by Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Will Turkey be able to handle Jokic’s hot-hand?

Can Turkey handle Jokic?
No matter where Jokic plays, his all-around skillset and incredible scoring prowess will be threatening the inside defense of the opposition. He can single-handedly demolish opposition and he is among the world’s best players. However, the Serbians also have a deep bench and this can be a difficult match-up for Turkey overall.
Turkey has a strong ball-handler in Shane Larkin while Cedi Osman gives a one-two scoring punch. Furkan Korkmaz can be effective as a shooter and overall the Turkish team has some substantial tools. Turkey can’t be taken lightly and if they are able to keep Jokic a bit off-the-bay then they can bag a win but their performance, especially on defense against Latvia was horrendous.
