While the Suns camp had hiccups when Chris Paul was absent, a long home stretch has enabled them to get back to their old ways. Play stellar defense and get the action going with meticulous operation. The best part about the recent run has been that Devin Booker hasn’t been required to be a leading scorer with Payne, Bridges, and Ayton stepping up their offense during different games. Payne has filled in amazingly for Paul and has given definition to the starting lineup. Not having Cam Johnson hurts a bit but with some of the most amazing starters in the league, the Suns can get into the deep end of Playoffs, like they did a couple of seasons ago.

Jazz: A lot of hiccups lately

The Jazz laid a solid foundation to the season with 10 wins and just three losses but have then lost six of their eight games. A combination of tough schedule, some awful defense, and not having Conley all contributed to losses but what was perceived a makeshit squad has now finally performed as expected. But just as you fall, so you can rise and the Jazz can surely craft a story like that. Lauri Markkanen is having the season of his life but he can rise even higher. Jordan Clarkson continues to supply quality offense, Malik Beasley continues to be an elite three-point shooter but the wheels are coming off the Jazz attack that lacks a bonafide star talent.
