Scope for a deep Playoffs run?

Can the Mercury still make a deep run after a horrid start? It is clear that their defense looks much better after inserting Sophie Cunningham in the starting lineup and she has done her job on the offensive end too. The backcourt of Taurasi and Diggins-Smith can score in bunches whereas Diamond DeShields has been electric off the bench. The team still has a chance to get something going and they have shown in the last two games that they can display improvements.

Fever’s inexperience is an issue

Kelsey Mitchell is left to do too much for the Fever and only she has been a consistent offensive player for them. NaLyssa has a lot of potential but she can be erratic. The same goes for Egbo whereas apart from the last game, Victoria Vivians was also struggling. Engstler lacks the polish to finish at the rim or shoot whereas Emma Cannon has given quality minutes. The bench needs to do more and so does Danielle Robinson as a starter.
