I don’t think the Lynx would have beaten the Sparks in the last game without McBride. She not only gives great scoring but can score late in the game. Sylvia Fowles continues to be an active rim-runner and can help the Lynx score when there are dry spells. Moriah Jefferson has gotten it done but apart from these three, more is needed. Jessica Shephard has done but veteran Aerial Powers has been completely off. Bridget Carleton can give some decent minutes but the Lynx needs more from Powers.

The Aces can run better than most teams in the league. The athletic presence of Wilson, Hamby, Plum, and Young is supported by a quick scorer Chelsea Gray. The starting lineup has a bunch of slashers, shooters, and inside finishers, which is a perfect recipe for a championship team. The Aces can end up as the most elite rebounding team and overall, they are tough to deal on both ends of the floor.
