NBA Projections, Stats & Analysis
Clippers: Can Kawhi get back to his old form?
Kawhi Leonard remains the focal point for the Clippers and not because of his stellar output or anything but his health. Since he has been back, he hasn’t looked himself, constantly struggling to get going on either end, but that is not an alarming sign, considering that he is working his way back from injury and hasn’t had a big window where he has played a ton of games. It means that the burden on the offensive end falls upon Paul George who has had to carry the load just like the last season. The Clippers haven’t received ample production from Reggie Jackson and Norman Powell and they will need them to turn it around. Marcus Morris and Ivica Zubac have been perhaps the best contributors apart from George.
Spurs: They are in reset mode
The Spurs have two impressive offensive talents in Keldon Johnson and Devin Vassell while Jeremy Sochan can become a solid two-way wing in the long term. Jakob Poeltl is a terrific screen-setter, inside finisher, and scintillating rebounder, however, does he have a long-term future with the team? Tre Jones has been an effective playmaker but his offense is suspect. Keita Bates-Diop has given quality minutes but his long-term fit is questionable. How will the Spurs navigate the course from here on? The Spurs are heading into a tough season after a strong start, but the fans don’t mind it. Can they perhaps end up landing Victor Wembanyama next season?

NBA Scores, Fantasy Basketball Top Picks
Keldon Johnson(SAS)
Johnson missed the last game. When the wing has played, he has been one of the most effective long-range shooters and has scored a ton of points. I expect him to be in 16-23 points range IF he plays.
Paul George(LAC)
Points: 16
Rebounds: 09
Assists: 03
Steals: 01
Despite being mostly being an amazing scoring presence, a couple of tough shooting games resurface for Paul because he has had to do too much. I believe he will be in 23-29 points, 4-7 rebounds, and 4-7 assists range here. He can be chosen as the Star/Pro Player in the Dream11 Fantasy NBA scene.
Devin Vassell(SAS)
Points: 29
Rebounds: 03
Assists: 03
Steals: 01
Blocks: 01
Guard Vassell has been a big influence on the Spurs’ offense nad his scoring has peaked considering he has major keys to offense with Murray departing the scene. I believe he will be in 20-25 points, 4-6 assists, and 1-3 steals range IF he plays.
Ivica Zubac(LAC)
Points: 09
Rebounds: 18
Assists: 01
Zubac is having a career rebounding year and is also doing a decent job defensively but he turns it over way too much for a big. I believe he will be in 8-12 points and 10-14 rebounds range here.
Marcus Morris(LAC)
Points: 16
Rebounds: 06
Assists: 01
Morris has been one of the most reliable players for the Clippers on the offensive end, usually scoring in mid 10s. I believe he will be in 14-19 points and 5-8 rebounds range.
Jakob Poeltl (SAS)
Points: 10
Rebounds: 07
Assists: 04
Blocks: 01
Steals: 01
Center Jakob has been a remarkable, rebounder, and inside finisher, and despite some limitations, he has played a big role. I believe he will be in 12-16 points, 8-12 rebounds, and 1-3 blocks/steals range.
LAC vs SAS Dream11 Lineup Balancers
-
- Reggie Jackson(LAC): Reggie had 23 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block in the last game. Reggie did have a big game against the Pistons but he has been mostly unreliable.
- Kawhi Leonard(LAC): Kawhi had 6 points 5 rebounds, 4 assists in the last game. It is clear that the two times Finals MVP need some time on the floor to get back to his old two-way superstar ways. I believe he will be in 10-14 points, 4-7 rebounds, and 2-4 assists range.
- Tre Jones(SAS): Tre had 15 points, 4 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals in the last game. Guard Tre is developing into a handy playmaker and scorer. I believe he will be in 10-15 points and 4-7 assists range here.
- Jeremy Sochan(SAS): Jeremy had 11 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds in the last game. Sochan can end up being an All-Defensive Team pick-up deeper in his career and has also impressed with his cutting and spot-up skills. I believe he will be in 10-15 points and 4-7 rebounds range.
- Norman Powell(LAC): Powell had 14 points, 2 rebounds, 1 assist in the last game. Wing Powell hasn’t performed as expectations and he really needs to turn it up more. I believe he will be in 12-16 points range here.
- Keita Bates-Diop(SAS): Keita had 16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block in the last game. Keita started in the last game when Keldon didn’t play, what will happen here?
- John Wall(LAC): John had 3 points, 4 assists, 1 rebound in the last game. Guard Wall had the worst game of the season but he can bounce back. I believe he will be in 11-17 points and 4-6 assists range.
- Josh Richardson(SAS): Josh had 9 points, 3 assists, 1 rebound, 2 steals in the last game. After a sold start, Josh has slowed down a bit lately. I expect a 7-11 points and 3-5 assists range.
