AUS-W vs CHN-W Dream11: The FIBA Women’s World Cup has gone on as expected with the exception of Puerto Rico’s rise and the fall of Japan and Korea. The Quarter-Finals went as expected and the top four teams came through. In this game, two of the top-class squads, Australia and China will come face to face in a battle that is tough to call.
Australia completed a 86:69 demolition of Belgium which was without their star player Emma Messeman. In that game, Cayla George notched a 19 points effort. On the other hand, China was on fire in the game against France, winning 85:71 as Meng Li inserted 23 points. Can China get it done against a physical outfit?

AUS-W vs CHN-W Dream11 FIBA WOMEN’S World Cup Projections, Stats & Analysis
Physical battle ahead
Australia and China engaged in a thrilling affair the last time they met in the Olympics, where Yueru Li’s late free-throws clinched the game, as China won 76:74. This surely justifies the close competition that has to be expected here. While China has the size advantage in the frontline, Australia has an imposing physical style of play and they are not afraid of getting hit and as the trend in Australian sports goes, gritty style of play is advocated. China is more of a clinical team than a physical team, but they are not afraid of taking contact either.
To compensate for Yueru Li’s so-so play, Xu Han has danced to the offensive music as a 6’9” player but the team goes nowhere without Meng Li, who has been top-class as a scorer who can both shoot and drive. Sijing Huang has picked her play up while the guard tandem of Siyu and Liwei Yang is dependable. To be honest, Australia has a better bench depth and they are not just dependent upon one action as Cayla George, Ezi Magbebor, and Marianna Tolo form the strongest frontline beside the loaded USA team. The team is blessed with multiple passers and off-the-ball shooters, so even some off-nights can be absorbed on the defensive end and the influx of brilliant scorers.
