The tournament will witness a total of 47 matches where some Pro Kabaddi League stars will be featuring as well. The competition will see 3 different legs in Pune, Mysore and Bengaluru telecast of the inaugural season of IIPKL will be broadcasted on D Sports, MTV, MTV HD, and DD Sports.

The inaugural day saw an intriguing battle between Pune Pride and Haryana Heroes, whereas 14th May saw three different matches between Pondicherry Predators and Bangalore Rhinos, Diler Delhi and Chennai Challengers, and Mumbai Che Rae vs Telugu Bulls.
