There has been an outpouring of emotions on the news that AB de Villiers, a modern day great, will not be continuing his international career of Cricket. Fans from all over the world are sad and have been recounting numerous memories when de Villiers had awed them with his explosive batting.
Virat Kohli has now joined in and wished his RCB teammate well. In an heart-warming post he said, “Wish you all the best in everything that you do my brother. In his 14-year International career, de Villiers made 440 international appearances and scored a staggering 20, 014 runs. De Villiers holds the records for the fastest 50 (16 balls), 100 (31 balls) and 150 (64 balls) of all time in One Day Internationals by any batsmen. De Villiers is a three-time ICC ODI player of the year, winning the award in 2010, 2014 and 2015.
