MS Dhoni has left behind Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers to top the list for most sixes in the eleventh edition of the Indian Premier League.
The Chennai Super Kings skipper has been in stellar form this year and he has blasted 24 sixes from nine innings.
Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and Andre Russell have hit 23 for Kings XI Punjab, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Kngiht Riders respectively.
Although the table-toppers CSK lost their last match to KKR, Mahendra Singh Dhoni continued his sublime form an played an unbeaten knock of 43 runs off 25 balls.
The early fall of wickets put CSK in a pressure as Ambati Rayudu, Suresh Raina and Faf du Plessis went back to pavilion without scoring much,
With constant wickets falling down, the innings was seeming to dwindle. But, MS Dhoni came to the rescue again.
Dhoni gained support from Jadeja as the two batsmen added a valuable fifty run stand to bring the visitors back in the game.
Dhoni remained unbeaten on 43 off 25 deliveries as the Super Kings finished with 178/5 in their 20 overs.
The support for #CSK on the road has been one of the events of #IPL2018 for me. Much of it is down to the Dhoni factor. Only comparison I can think of is Sachin & #MI in #IPL1 back in 2008
