Jaipur – In one of the best innings of the IPL 2018, Jos Buttler guided Rajasthan Royals home all by himself, to give his team all-important win to stay afloat in the playoffs race.

Chennai Super Kings, put into bat first, started strong with Raina and Watson 86-run partnership for the second wicket after losing Ambati Rayudu when the score was 19. After the duo’s exit, MS Dhoni took charge of the CSK innings and took his team to a par score. Jofra Archer was the pick of the RR bowlers but leaked too many for 2 wickets.

In reply, Buttler and his fellow countrymen Stokes came out to open, although the latter perished without contributing much. Buttler notched his fourth successive fifty to carry Rajasthan Royals’ innings but kept losing partners at the other end.

In the end, it was down to 12 runs in the last over against Dwayne Bravo. The Englishman kept nerves and took five deliveries to secure the win.
