Kuldeep Yadav revealed in an interview that team India skipper Virat Kohli is more difficult to bowl at than Chris Gayle.
‘It usually doesn’t bother me who is batting against me but Virat Kohli is a very difficult batsman to bowl as he doesn’t let you bowl dot balls. Besides hitting you for a six or four, he will also take twos and threes,’ he said.
‘It creates pressure on the bowler. Undoubtedly, Chris Gayle is an impact player and he really dominates every bowler. He can hit you for six and fours but he can’t take singles. So there is an option of bowling dot balls to him,’ he added.
With seven wickets in eight games, the 23-year-old is the second leading wicket-taker of KKR.
Further talking about his run so far he asserted that he wants to push himself more.
“I am not very happy with myself. I wanted more wickets to my name in the tournament. But I am returning from an injury and I think that has impacted my performance. I feel good to get my rhythm back, I will try to give in the coming days,” he said.
