The big-hitting left hander has every T20 batting record to his name. Gayle is one of the top run-getters of T20 format, and the only one so far to have gone past 10,000 runs. In his T20 career so far, Gayle has struck 743 sixes with fellow West Indian Kieron Pollard at distant second with 459 sixes against his name.

Gayle has made 101 IPL appearances so far, and has cracked 5 100s with the highest score of unbeaten 175.  Gayle played 85 matches for Royal Challengers Bangalore. For the last 2 seasons, Gayle didn’t have a best of runs.
