In the latest development, the Mumbai Indians has named Kiwi pacer Adam Milne as a replacement for injured Pat Cummins who was ruled out of the tournament due to bone oedema in his vertebrae which he sustained during the fourth Test against South Africa.
Cummins was bought by Mumbai Indians for a price of INR 540 lakh. Milne, meanwhile, is MI’s second replacement pacer. The first was another New Zealander, Mitchell McClenaghan, who replaced another Aussie Jason Behrendorff.
Milne will join the strong pace attack of the Mumbai Indians which comprises Jasprit Bumrah, Mustafizur Rahma, and Mitchell McClenaghan. This will be Milne’s third IPL, having previously played for RCB in the previous two IPL seasons.
