N’Golo Kante in doubt of featuring against Turkey

Defensive mid-fielder N’Golo Kante is in doubt of making it into the team sheet against Turkey.

The Chelsea, star man had sustained a hip injury in the pre-match warmups against Iceland on Friday. As a result of that, it was a midfield trio of Matuidi, Tolisso and Sissoko which paired up.

Though N’Golo Kante is unlikely to feature in the upcoming international fixture, he was spotted in training with the rest of the squad.

Didier Deschamps will possibly go with the same midfield that was put up against Iceland while not risking Kante.

Standings

The game between France and Turkey will be an interesting affair as both sides are on level terms in Group H with 18 points. However, it was Turkey who beat France 2-1 the last time they crossed paths. As a result of that win, it’s Turkey who sits on top while France comes in second.

A win for either of the teams will be vital as they could solidify the top spot in their respective group for the Euro 2020 Qualifiers.
