LaLiga to set up football schools in India

LaLiga to launch a football development program in India under which the league will set up football schools in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru and Cochin.
The schools will provide LaLiga’s technical curriculum and will teach football with the detailed methodology to the young guns of India which will be overseen by the LaLiga India head, Jose Cachaza. The programme will focus on the range of students under the 6-18 year.
LaLiga has said that India is on their priority list and they have been interested in catering the Indian audience with the LaLiga action. They have recently announced three-year broadcasting rights to Facebook for India. In this deal, Indian fans can enjoy their favourite league matches on Facebook. “LaLiga is a strong supporter of developing young football talent all over the world. Seeing the kind of talent and passion Indians have for the game, we have decided to collaborate with India On Track to create a base to polish the talent here. We will be excited to see young boys and girls from India gets training with our best coaches and facilities and learn to play the LaLiga way,” said Jose Cachaza, LaLiga India head.
It’s like a dream come true for Indian football fans that are a huge fan of the Spanish league and wants to see the high octane football in India. It will change the DNA of sports from cricket loving country to football playing country, and LaLiga will play the prominent role in it. As of now, several Premier League clubs and La Liga clubs have set up their branch in India. Big names are getting interested in India as a market, and they want to enter the subcontinent through this. Those institutes got the massive response from budding Indian players while LaLiga planned the same kind of program in partnership with Sports consulting company – India On Track which will help the Spanish league to run football schools smoothly.
