ISL 2018 : ATK to lock horns with Fulham FC in a one-off friendly match

Indian Super League ISL side ATK will take on Fulham FC in a friendly match at the Pinatar Arena Football Centre in Murcia Spain on 8th September.
ATK took to the twitter to announce the friendly fixture against Premier League side Fulham FC. Kolkata based side is not the first one to indulge in a clash with a Premier League club. In 2016, Delhi Dynamos also announced a friendly against West Bromwich Albion. Where the ISL’s fame side Delhi Dynamos lost the match.

It is the only second time when any ISL side is going up against Premier League club. The teams will be facing each other for a one-off friendly match in Spain. ATK is already in Spain for their pre-season training camp while Fulham will travel to the Murcia a week before the game to attend the training camp in the middle of the season due to the international break.
The London based club will be expected to come with the full strength with the likes of the captain Tom Cairney, Andre Schurrie. Here are the players which can involve in the one-off friendly against ATK: Floyd Ayité, Joe Bryan, Tom Cairney, Calum Chambers, Luca de la Torre, Harvey Elliott, Fabri, Tyrese Francois, Aboubakar Kamara, Maxime Le Marchand, Alfie Mawson, Denis Odoi, Matt O’Riley, Sergio Rico, Andre Schürrle, Luciano Vietto.
ATK has recently included some foreign talent in the squad with the likes of Manuel Lanzarote, John Johnson, Andre Bikey, Everton Santos, Gerson Vieira, Kalu Uche, Noussair El Maimouni. They have recently signed the Indian prodigy and Manipur’s right back Boris Sing Thangjam and Indian Arrows member Sumit Rathi.
Kolkata will indeed get the invaluable experience after locking horns with Fulham FC ahead of the ISL2018/2019 season. Kolkata will start their season while facing two-time finalist Kerala Blaster in the 2018/2019 season opener on 29 September.
