Barcelona center-half suffers yet another set back ahead of Champions League tie

FC Barcelona has suffered a big bow as Samuel Umtiti has been named on the sidelines due to yet another knee issue.

The 25-year-old did make a comeback in the win over Eibar but it seems like Umtiti will have to work his way back into the team once again.

The France international could only be a part of 15 appearances for the Catalan club last season as a result of his knee.

No such updates have been given by Ernesto Valverde or the coaching staff of Barcelona regarding Umtit’s return date.

Clement Lenglet to get another shot

As Samuel Umtiti goes through a difficult phase in his career, Clement Lenglet will get more opportunities to impress at the boss at the cener-half position.

Barcelona currently holds the top spot in La Liga and are a point above their arch-rivals, Real Madrid.

In Group F of the Champions League. Barcelona has four points and is on level terms with Borussia Dortmund.
