Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester United team news:
Wolverhampton Wanderers team news: Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo confirmed that Diego Jota is not fit enough to play against Manchester United in the FA Cup. Jota suffered a thigh injury during the 2-1 defeat at Watford in the Premier League.
Nuno also made it clear that Jesus Vallejo is expected to leave the club in the summer, so he won’t be involved here.
In addition, Wolves remain without Willy Boly, Morgan Gibbs-White and Bruno Jordao at the moment.
The injury to Jota and the Vallejo’s impending departure, and not to mention the existing absentees, stretch an already thin Wolves squad.
“We need to bring players in. Who and which positions I will not share with you, unfortunately,” Wolves manager Nuno said.
“That is not the right thing to do, especially when there are so many names going around that don’t make sense. “We need players. Now I think is the right moment to start working on that. The transfer window gives you the chance to bring things that can improve you. That’s what I’m looking at.”
