WOL vs FUL Dream11 Prediction: Fulham makes the trip to Wolverhampton from London for the fourth matchday of the English Premier League. Wolves have had a horrible start to the 2020/21 season, losing all their games after the first matchday of the season where they beat Sheffield United 2-0. They have since lost to Stoke City in the Carabao Cup 1-0 and then went on to lose 3-1 and 4-0 to Manchester City and West Ham United respectively. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men are not used to such a run of poor form since they began life in the Premier League and the Wolves will be desperate to change that. They finished 7th in the league last season and the season before that and have always been a tricky side to face for clubs. It will be interesting to see how they react to this unprecedented situation they find themselves in. Finding themselves in a similar but not unfamiliar situation, Fulham is yet to register a win this season in the Premier League. The only games they have won all season has come in the Carabao Cup, from which they have since been knocked out of. With both teams hungry for a win, this game is surely an important one and will be very intense, to say the least.

Who will win today’s match?
Despite being on a three-game losing streak that saw them get knocked out of the EFL Carabao Cup, bookmakers have pegged Wolverhampton Wanderers to get the win over Fulham. Scott Parker is just starting out as a manager and to face the difficult Premier League so soon in his career was always going to be a difficult task but what concerns their fans at the moment is their performance to sides like Aston Villa and Brentford, losing 3-0 to both of them. They did not strengthen properly in the transfer window and are now paying the price for it, one game at a time. Parallelly, Wolves’ losing streak seems like a passing, fleeting phase and that they will get back to the top soon. They began last season poorly too and found themselves in the relegation zone early on in the season but they fought back and finished 7th, above Arsenal and level on points with Tottenham Hotspur. This is the perfect game for them to return to winning ways and will look to exploit any weakness and vulnerabilities in the Fulham defence. Check out our WOL vs FUL Dream11 Match Prediction.

Captain options
Raul Jimenez – The talisman will be tasked with getting the Wolves back in form by terrorizing the Fulham defence that has already conceded 13 goals this season. Jimenez scored 30 goals over the last two seasons in the Premier League and despite Wolves’ poor form, he has found the net twice already, once against Manchester City and once against Sheffield United.
Aleksander Mitrovic – Being the highest goal scorer in the Championship last season, Mitrovic would have hoped to carry that form onto the Premier League. While Fulham has been disappointing, Mitrovic has scored twice already in just two starts in the Premier League with both his goals coming against Leeds United.
Adama Traore – The young speedster has been excellent for the Wolves so far since his move from Middlesbrough a couple of seasons ago. With the departure of Matt Doherty, Adama has been filling in at right-wing-back and is yet to make a goal contribution in that position. He had 13 goal contributions last season and his blistering pace has been a menace to defences in the league for a while now. With the departure of Diogo Jota, he will look to strike up a partnership with Fabio Silva and Raul Jimenez to get Wolves back to their best.
X-factors (differential picks)
Tom Cairney – Tom Cairney has played in the heart of the Fulham midfield for years now and it will take an experienced player like himself to pull the side together and unify and to dust themselves off and push again for survival in the Premier League. Despite playing in a double pivot, he finds himself in dangerous positions and racked up 8 goals and 3 assists last season.
Fabio Silva – New signing, Fabio Silva, joined Wolverhampton Wanderers from FC Porto this summer and making the jump to the Premier League at 18 years of age is a huge milestone for the youngster. He has the ideal opportunity to make a name for himself in the English League under Nuno Espirito Santo who will hope to have found his Diogo Jota replacement in him.
Joshua Onomah – Having signed from Tottenham Hotspur last summer, Joshua Onomah helped Fulham power through and gain promotion to the Premier League last season. Despite not getting a lot of goal contributions, Onomah is still young and has a long career ahead of him and is on the big stage of the Premier League now which he would love to exploit.
