Timbers will be without the injured trio of left-back Marco Farfan (left knee injury), goalkeeper Jeff Attinella (right shoulder injury) and defender Modou Jadama (left foot injury).

Possible INs and OUTs of this game:

Jorge Villafana will feature at left-back, with Jorge Moreira starting on the opposite flank.
Marvin Loría was largely ineffective against Minnesota United, and the 22-year-old may find himself on the bench against Vancouver Whitecaps. Jeremy Ebobisse is the player likely to replace him in the playing 11.
