TOT vs BRE Dream11: Tottenham welcome Brentford for the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup. Jose Mourinho’s side has been desperate for silverware for years now and they have now been granted the perfect opportunity to end their trophy drought. They are also on a good run of form of late with their strong 3-0 win over Leeds bringing them up to 3rd place n the Premier League table. Spurs beat Stoke 3-1 in the quarter-finals to progress to the next round, where despite opening the scoring, a couple of late goals had to seal the game. Brentford, on the other hand, is living the dream which seems like compensation for narrowly missing out on a place in the Premier League. The Bees are unbeaten since the last week of October and are currently on a 4-game winning streak. The Championship side has done well to reach this stage of the competition after beating top-flight sides like Southampton, Fulham, West Brom and Newcastle already.

TOT vs BRE Prediction, Team News, Starting XI
A) Spurs Team News
Injury Report, Unavailability: Gareth Bale and Giovani Lo Celso are confirmed absentees who will be sidelined due to injuries. Matt Doherty received a red card against Leeds and will not be able to play any part in this fixture.
Doubtful: Steve Bergwijn will be a doubt owing to a groin injury.
Expected changes: Jose Mourinho can be expected to play a strong lineup despite rotating a few players. The backline should remain more or less the same, with Davinson Sanchez likely to get a start at centre-back. The dominant double pivot of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Moussa Sissoko should get starts as well. Dele Alli has been out of favour in Premier League games but will start in attacking midfield, along with the likes of Lucas Moura, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son. With their last game against Fulham getting postponed, the players should be fit and ready to go.
Spurs Starting XI (probable):
Hugo Lloris (GK)
Serge Aurier
Davinson Sanchez
Eric Dier
Ben Davies
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Moussa Sissoko
Lucas Moura
Dele Alli

B) Brentford Team News
Injury Report, Unavailability: Mads Rasmussen and Shandon Baptiste are confirmed absentees and will miss out on the game.
Doubtful: Thomas Frank has no doubtful players for the TOT vs BRE Dream11 Prediction.
Expected changes: Bretford too had their previous game cancelled which means that all their first-team players should be fit to start and Frank is unlikely to change a winning team. David Raya should start in goal, with a backline of Henrik Dalsgaard, Pontus Jansson, Ethan Pinnock and Rico Henry. The 4-3-3 model should continue with Joshua Da Silva, Vitaly Janelt and Mathias Jensen forming the trio in the centre of the park. Bryan Mbuemo, Ivan Toney and Sergio Canos will be trusted with spearheading the attack.

TOT vs BRE Today Match Prediction:
Bet365: Spurs – 4/9; Brentford – 6/1
Paddy Power: Spurs – 4/9; Brentford – 6/1
A semi-final is always a massive game as the weight of the occasion adds to what will already to be a tough fixture for both teams. However, Spurs will definitely have the upper hand with the better players and a manager who has a plethora of experience in these circumstances. If there is a man who knows how to grind out results, it’s Jose Mourinho. Brentford will come into this game with a nothing to lose attitude and will throw everything Spurs’ way which can cause the home side some problems, but not enough to stop them from winning the TOT vs BRE Today Match Prediction.
Most Likely Result: Tottenham Hotspur win

TOT vs BRE Dream11, Captain & Differential Picks
Captain Options –
Harry Kane –
Goals/Assists – 12/13
Chances created – 42
Shots on target – 28
If the Brentford players don’t already know, which is unlikely, Thomas Frank will not be able to understate the threat of Harry Kane enough. The Englishman has been exceptional this season and always seems to find the net. His link-up with fellow-forward, Heung-Min Son, has been incredible too.
Ivan Toney –
Goals – 16
Chances created – 29
Shots on target – 27
Not a lot of fans and critics gave Brentford a chance after the departure of Said Benrahma and Ollie Watkins but new signing, Ivan Toney, has filled out their boots perfectly. He will look to test the Spurs defence constantly by getting in behind them into pockets of space, waiting for the perfect ball.
Heung-Min Son –
Goals/Assists – 14
Chances created – 44
Accurate crosses – 22
The South Korean too has been excellent this season. Many teams have tried and failed to cut out the channels between him and Kane but the duo always seems to find a way. The message will be simple to the Bretford players – stop Kane and Son and there is a realistic chance of winning the game.
Differential Picks –
Mathias Jensen –
Chances created – 34
Accurate crosses – 26
Successful dribbles – 11
Playing in a midfield 3, Jensen has been a very creative spark for Brentford. He will look to find the forwards in the final third with some line-breaking passes. With the Bees defence expected to sit deep, Jensen might even be the first line of attack in most cases.
Dele Alli –
Alli used to be a regular starter in the side until this season. Mourinho has been giving him opportunities to start in the Europa League and Carabao Cup and a strong performance in a semi-final are exactly what Alli will be looking for in order to prove his worth to the Spurs boss.
Bryan Mbuemo –
Chances created – 32
Accurate crosses – 21
Successful dribbles – 16
Playing on the right flank, next to Toney is Bryan Mbeumo. The French international must be high on confidence after assisting the Fosu’s winning goal against Bournemouth during their last game. He will also look to bother Ben Davies and use his dribbling prowess to get past him in order to whip some crosses in.
