• Brighton’s injury list is becoming slimmer with each passing week, but a handful of first-team players still remain out injured.
• Jose Izquierdo, Shane Duffy and Leandro Trossard all will be missing the game for the hosts due to their respective injury issues.

Three-man backline?

Since Aurier is suspended and with no natural replacement, Mauricio Pochetino may revert back to three-man backline he used so effectively in the past.

In that case, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Davinson Sanchez will all start at the back, while Danny Rose will move further upfield on the left side, with Moussa Sissoko starting on the right-wing.

Christian Eriksen once again started from the bench in the Champions League and should get a start here over Dele Alli who certainly was far off his pace.
