TOT vs BAY Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups
Tottenham Hotspur are set to host German giants Bayern Munich in a high-profile Champions League game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs let slip a 2-0 lead against Olympiacos in their opening game, while Bayern easily got the better of Serbian side Red Star Belgrade as they won 3-0 at the Allianz Arena. Last season’s beaten finalists have to bring their A-game to this game if they are to get anything out of this match.
But t’s easier said than done and the task could be even more difficult if the Mauricio Pochettino’s men commit the same mistakes which have cost them some vital wins this season.
Bayern Munich, meanwhile, remain undefeated this season, both in the domestic competitions and in the Champions League. Following RB Leipzig’s 1-3 defeat at home, they moved back to the top spot in Bundesliga.

Tottenham Hotspur Team News:
Tottenham have no fresh injury concerns heading into the next game. Summer arrivals Ryan Sessegnon and Giovani Lo Celso remain the only long term absentees with hamstring and hip injuries respectively.
Big guns need to buckle up!
Christian Eriksen has been struggling all season. He is too good a player for these sorts of inconsistencies. Spurs need the old Eriksen back as soon as possible.
Eric Dier has hardly played this season and he may not be rushed back in this game considering he has been lacking the match fitness. So expect Tanguy N’Dombele, and Harry Winks to form the base of the midfield in this game.
While there’s a problem at the back, especially on the right side of the defense. Kevin trippier’s departure and Spurs’ failure to land a back-up means Serge Aurier is the only experienced player for the right-back position. But the former PSG man is too inconsistent for the team’s cause. That said, he is expected to start here.
Tottenham Hotspur Probable XI: Hugo Lloris (GK), Serge Aurier, Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, Ben Davies, Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, Moussa Sissoko, Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min
Bayern Munich Team News:
Bayern will once again be without midfielder Leon Goretzka and 19-year-old striker Jann-Fiete Arp.
Latest injury scare:
Lucas Hernandez picked up a serious knock in the 2-3 win over Paderborn in Bundesliga on Saturday and could miss the game.
But left-back David Alaba could be involved here after the Austrian returned to the bench last weekend following a recovery from a long-term injury. But lack of match fitness could force the manager not to throw him in this high-profile game, provided Hernandez is fit to play.
Return of familiar foes:
Former Arsenal player Serge Gnabry is set to start against Tottenham Hotspur. He will be a threat for the hosts as the German has been in fine form this season.
Another player who is familiar with Spurs is Philippe Coutinho. The 27-year-old Brazilian knows all about them having played for Liverpool for six years.
Bayern Munich Probable XI:
Manuel Neuer (GK), Benjamin Pavard, Jerome Boateng, Nicolas Sule, Lucas Hernandez / David Alaba, Thiago, Joshua Kimmich, Kingsley Coman, Philippe Coutinho, Serge Gnabry, Robert Lewandowski
Likely to score:
- For Tottenham Hotspur – Harry Kane, Son Heung-Min
- For Bayern Munich – Serge Gnabry, Robert Lewandowski

TOT vs BAY Dream11 potential winner:
This will be just the 2nd meeting between these two clubs in Europe since Spurs knocked Bayern out of 1983-1984 UEFA Cup competition. That was Tottenham’s only triumph in Europe, while Bayern went onto add two more Champions League titles.
But Spurs are right at the top level of European football at the moment and will not be bogged down by the profile of their opponents.
A score draw is our bet.
