TOT vs BAR Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Tottenham face their season’s make-or-break clash as they aim for the knockout rounds of UEFA Champions League when they visit Barcelona to play the final group match in Europe at Camp Nou, in Barcelona, tomorrow on Tuesday night (IST).
Barcelona:
Barcelona wrapped up everything on offer in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League in their last group match.
The Catalan giants headed to the Netherlands to face Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven, knowing a win for them and anything less than three points for Inter Milan against Tottenham would be enough for them to win the group. And that’s what happened.
Barcelona won 1-2 at Philips Stadion, Lionel Messi and Gerard Pique scored the goals. However, Luuk de Jong’s late strike did make the ride a bit bumpy in the end for the visitors.
Ernesto Valverde’s men are in good form at the moment. They are on a five-game unbeaten streak, winning the last four, including the 4-0 win in the local derby against Espanyol.
Tottenham Hotspur:
Tottenham Hotspur are picking up results, and that’s quite obvious from their position in the Premier League. They are 3rd in the league with 16 points from the first 16 games and remain the only side this season in England’s top-division not to draw a game of football.
Spurs were the only side in England not to spend even a penny on the new recruitment in the summer. Many football pundits even show some apprehensions at their no-show in the transfer market and even made them one of the favourites to drop out of the top-4. However, as things stand, their points tally of 36 is 8 points better than what they achieved last season after 16 games. So clearly, this is a sign of improvement and an indicator towards the capability of Mauricio Pochettino who has been earmarked to take over Old Trafford come the next summer.
As for the Champions League, Spurs need to win the game at Camp Nou or hope that Inter Milan fail to beat PSV Eindhoven at San Siro. But the latter looks unlikeliest as the Nerazzurri are a force at home, and if the 2010 Champions win, Tottenham need all three points from their visit to Barcelona to come 2nd in the group.

TOT vs BAR Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
Team 1:
With Barcelona already qualifying to the knockout rounds as the group winners, Valverde could opt to give his stars a break in this match.
There are clouds over the fitness of Suarez and Messi could feature from the bench as well.
However, we have decided not to take the risk with Suarez, but have gone ahead with Messi who will be captaining our first team – Son will be his partner.
Coutinho and Rakitic will be in the middle to provide the hoke team with a thrust, while Eriksen is Spurs’ biggest talent in the middle.
Team 2:
Not many chnages here, but Kane is our captian in this side.
INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
Barcelona are too strong at home and we expect them to win this game.
