SHF vs WOL Dream11 Prediction: Sheffield United and Wolverhampton Wanderers kick-off their Premier League campaign on Monday night at Bramall Lane. After a dream start to life in the top division that ended just short of the European spots, Sheffield will go again and try to seal the deal this time. Chris Wilder’s side produced some great results in the league last season including a 3-0 win against Chelsea. Wolves have been on somewhat of a great run themselves, ever since they got promoted to the Premier League. Nuno Espirito Santo has made some smart signings and given them an identity and direction which has made them a side that consistently finishes in amongst the top teams in England. Sheffield can emulate that if last season was anything to judge them by. They have also bought a number of players in the transfer window but it remains to be seen how they fare after this. They are currently on a three-game losing stream in the league and they will want to phase that out by registering a strong win on the first matchday. Wolves also ended the season poorly by winning just 2 of the last 6 games. With a couple of new signings to rejuvenate the squad, a rampant Wolves will do everything to overcome Chris Wilder’s men.

SHF vs WOL Dream11 Prediction Team News, Injury Report, Starting Line-ups
Â
SHF Team News: Dean Henderson has returned back to Manchester United and their new signing from Bournemouth, Aaron Ramsdale, is expected to start. David McGoldrick is expected to start despite having a minor injury. Sheffield are likely to start with the 3-5-2 formation that served them so well last season. Despite the new signings for the Blades, Wilder will most likely go for the same line-up as last season. Here is SHF vs WOL Dream11 Prediction team for Sheffield:

Â
Aaron Ramsdale (GK)
Chris Basham
John Egan
Jock O’Connell

Â
WOL Team News: Wolves lost one of their key players when Matt Doherty signed for Tottenham Hotspur and they are yet to sign a replacement. It remains unclear if new signings Vitinha and Fabio Silva will feature or not. Even Nuno Espirito Santo will stick to his 3-5-2 formation because it is tried and tested and Wolves will not want to toggle something that does not need toggling.

Who Will Win Today’s Match?
Â
This is a tough game to call but bookies have Wolves to win at 13/10 and Sheffield to win at just 12/5. This will be a very tough game for both sides and will likely be a tactical matchup. Chris Wilder grew increasingly popular in the league for how he used his wing-backs to create space in the final third. He will use the same tactic to get Stevens and Baldock in behind Vinagre and Saiss, and Traore and Boly to feed in crosses to Oliver McBurnie and David McGoldrick. Fleck and Norwood will look for line-breaking passes and try to get into the box to wreak more havoc. Wolves have a very good midfield three in Joao Moutinho, Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker and will try to build from there. Adama Traore has the ability to attract defenders whilst on his long dribbles which frees up space for the likes of Raul Jimenez and Diogo Jota to get into the box and score goals. Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker love taking a crack at goal from outside the box and they are quite good at it too so that’s something Sheffield need to take care of. It seems like the game will end in a draw but neither side would like to settle for it.

Â
Captain Options
Â
Raul Jimenez – Jimenez, signed a couple of seasons ago on loan, turned out to be one of Wolves’ best buys over the last few years. He has been excellent for them, scoring 27 goals and providing 10 assists in the 2019/20 season. He has also had 62 goal contributions for them in just 99 appearances so it’s no wonder the 29-year-old has plenty of top clubs enquiring about him.
Â
Oliver Norwood – Playing in the heart of the Sheffield midfield, is a creative outlet for The Blades. He puts in about 8 crosses a game and creates 3 chances per 90 which is very lucrative for Chris Wilder’s side. Despite playing in central midfield, he has 5 goals and 2 assists in the previous season.
Â
Adama Traore – Adama Traore, the explosive young right-winger, has been very good since he joined Wolves. The La Masia graduate provided 12 assists and scored 6 goals last season. Besides this, he completes about 5 dribbles a game and creates 3 chances per 90 which will only get better judging by the rate at which he is improving.
Â
X-Factors (Differential Picks)
Â
Aaron Ramsdale – New signing, Ramsdale, is a different pick but can quite possibly have a great game. He has the task of filling in for Dean Henderson who kept 13 clean sheets for Sheffield last season. Ramsdale, personally, had a great season with Bournemouth but unfortunately, they got relegated. He had a save percentage of 70 despite playing behind a very poor Bournemouth defence all season. Sheffield have a far more organized and structured defence and Ramsdale will be much better in this squad.
Â
Diogo Jota – Playing alongside Raul Jimenez, Jota, has been the dark horse of the Wolves team. He does not always turn up on the score-sheet but retrospectively, he does make a sizeable contribution in terms of numbers. He scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists last season and he now has Fabio Silva to steal his spot which will give him more incentive to perform.
Â
John Fleck – The player alongside Oliver Norwood and John Lundstram, he too is the creative spark in midfield for Sheffield. His attacking output is impressive, creating 3 chances per 90 and completing 2 dribbles at the same time, Wilder will turn to Fleck and Norwood to break the resistance provided by Ruben Neves and Leander Dendoncker.
