ROM vs INT Dream11: Inter Milan make the trip to the Italian capital as they face AS Roma in the Serie A. Roma is in stunning form with 5 wins from their last 6 games, scoring 16 goals in the process. The Romans currently 3rd in the Serie A table, lurking around the top spots and are just 3 points below Inter. However, they have fallen short when it comes to facing the tougher sides, including draws to AC Milan and Juventus and losing heavily to Napoli and Atalanta. In similar form, Inter will look to right the wrongs from their last game as they failed to capitalise on AC Milan’s loss to Juventus which would’ve seen them top the table. They now need to win this game in order to keep pace with their fierce rivals but face a tough test in Roma who will in fact be looking to displace the Nerazzurri from second place.

A) Roma Team News
Injury Report, Unavailability: Roma are without Nicolo Zaniolo, Pedro Rodriguez and Riccardo Calafiori who are all out injured.
Doubtful: Paulo Fonseca does not have any doubtful players either.
Expected changes: Roma played a slightly rotated side against Crotone and should revert back to a full-strength squad for this important game. Pau Lopez should keep his place in goal behind an unchanged back three of Gianluca Mancini, Chris Smalling and Roger Ibanez. On the flanks, Rick Karsdorp should keep his place but Bruno Peres will make way for Leonardo Spinazzola as Bryan Cristante and Jordan Veretout start in central midfield. Henrick Mkhitaryan was excellent in their last game and should feature alongside Lorenzo Pellegrini. Despite a solid performance, Borja Mayoral should make way for Edin Dzeko.

Chris Smalling
Roger Ibanez
Rick Karsdorp

Samir Handanovic will start in goal behind Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni. The midfield 5 should largely remain the same with Achraf Hakimi, Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Ashley Young as Roberto Gagliardini makes way for Arturo Vidal. ROM vs INT Today Match Prediction:
SkyBet: Roma – 15/8; Inter – 5/4
Paddy Power: Roma – 15/8; Inter – 5/4
The games between the 2 sides have not had a winner since 2017, with each of their last 5 games being a draw. However, both sides will be desperate for a win and will know that anything less than 3 points is as good as a loss. Inter will need to win as many games as they can to remain within touching distance of the league leaders and Roma will want to catch up with Inter first. The ROM vs INT Today Match Prediction holds a lot of significance in that sense and based on everything, it seems like Inter should edge the Romans.
Most Likely Result: Inter win

ROM vs INT Dream11, Captain & Differential Picks
Captain Options –
Romelu Lukaku –
Goals/Assists (starts) – 16/3 (17)
Chances created – 26
Successful dribbles – 32
Lukaku is known for lurking around the final third waiting for a deadly pass and more often than not, scores when he gets the ball in that area. His physical strength along with his finishing skills will make him a very difficult striker to play against.
Edin Dzeko –
Goals – 8
Chances created – 14
Successful dribbles – 22
The Bosnian international has become an important part of this Roma side for a long time now. Dzeko has also scored a goal in each of his last 4 starts for the club and has been rested against Crotone which means he will be fit and ready to go for this one.
Lautaro Martinez –
Goals/Assists – 10/4
Chances created – 29
Shots on target – 26
The youngster has been excellent so far for Inter and has been in incredible form too with 4 goals and 1 assist in his last 4 starts for the club, including a hattrick against Crotone. His flair and dynamic gameplay perfectly complement Lukaku’s more hard-end approach which will give the Roma defence all kinds of problems.
Differential Picks –
Jordan Veretout –
Chances created – 16
Shots on target – 14
Interceptions – 15
Jordan Veretout has been one of the more underappreciated players in Europe so far but is very crucial to the Roma midfield. He has scored 8 goals this season which is quite impressive given he plays in a side that already has a lot of goal-scorers.
Nicolo Barella –
Chances created – 31
Dribbles succeeded – 14
Tackles succeeded – 27
Nicola Barella fits like a jigsaw piece in the Inter midfield. The Nerazzurri have a higher win percentage with him in the squad than when he is out injured. The likes of Lukaku and Lautaro will look to him to kick off attacks and get the ball rolling in the final third.
Henrick Mkhitaryan –
Goals/Assists – 9/8
Chances – 35
Successful dribbles – 23
After a time to forget in England, Henrick Mkhitaryan has truly revived his career in the Serie A. He has been excellent so far with 22 shots on target and playing right behind the striker gives him a lot of opportunities to score and assist.
