If Real Valladolid were given the current scenario they are in La Liga, they would have taken it at the start of the campaign. They made it to the top flight of Spanish football after winning the Secunda Division last season and currently, sit 16th with 3 points separating them from the bottom three.

They have won six times in La Liga this season, suffering 12 defeats, while eights matches ended in draws. They are not known for scoring goals (20 this term), but their defence has done reasonably well after conceding just 34 times. For a team of that pedigree and ambitions, that’s not the worst return at all.

Injured – Madrid were dealt a huge blow after it was confirmed that winger Vinicius Junior suffered a serious ankle injury against Ajax. The young Brazilian could miss the remainder of the season. Also joining him on the sidelines are Lucas Vazquez and Dani Carvajal.
Suspended – Sergio Ramos is suspended for the visitors.
Questionable – Gareth Bale is going through a very difficult period and the injuries aren’t helping either. The former Tottenham star is carrying a knock and will be evaluated before the match. While Sergio Reguilon, Marcos Llorente and Keylor Navas are doubtful as well.
