Madrid brought Zinedine Zidane back to the Santiago Bernabeu. The 1998 World Cup winning star made a successful start to the campaign, winning the first two games.

The Los Blancos are 3rd in the La Loga table, 12 points behind leaders and the reigning champions Barcelona. It’s safe to say that the Catalan giants will be winning the league this year as well. While Madrid are out of both Copa del Rey and Champions League, which means that the Madrid giants won’t be winning any competition this season.

But Zidane hasn’t been brought for this season alone. His appointment was made thinking about the future. Madrid are aging and needs an over-hauling this summer.

Huesca, meanwhile, are doomed for the Segunda Division. As things stand, they are at the foot of the table with 22 points from 28 games, seven points adrift of safety.

Despite the gloom surrounding the club, this match is a historical event for Huesca. As this is the first time that they will be playing Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.

But the situation is not as bad as it seems. Not after the platform, they gave themselves in the last month or so.
