Austria had a disastrous Wolrd Cup qualifying campaign despite boasting a competitive squad in comparison to some other teams who earned a ticket to Russia last summer. They finished fourth in their group behind Serbia, Republic of Ireland, and Wales.

Poland, on the other hand, did manage to qualify for the World Cup last summer. But their journey was far less than impressive as they got knocked out from the group stage, winning just once and finishing last in the group.

The Polish were never the same after that disastrous campaign as they remain winless in the last six games.

But still, despite their stuttering form, Poland are the favorites to win the group.
