NAP vs ATN Dream11 Prediction: Napoli welcome Atalanta to the San Paolo stadium on Saturday in what will be the fourth matchday in the Serie A. After securing back to back wins in the Serie A, Napoli went into the international break furious. The reason being that Napoli could not travel to Turin for their game against Juventus due to being in quarantine. This resulted in the game being counted as a forfeit and Juventus were awarded a 3-0 win while Napoli got a point’s deduction. However, Napoli believes that they contacted Juve multiple times to move the game instead of forfeiting it but the cooperation was not reciprocated. As for Atalanta, they have enjoyed a stunning start to the season winning all their games so far. They are a free-scoring side at the moment and have ended their games 4-2, 4-1 and 5-2 so far. They have also faced tricky opponents like Lazio and Torino and seem to be building on how they left last season. They will want to retain their spot on top of the table as they travel to Napoli looking to make it 4 wins out of 4.

Who will win today’s match?
Despite being on an incredible run so far, Gasperini will know that Napoli is not just any other team. While they have scored 13 goals in 3 games, Atalanta has also conceded 5 goals at the same time. Gennaro Gattuso will look to exploit these defensive frailties of theirs in NAP vs ATN Dream11 Team Predictions.and use the duo of Dries Mertens and new signing, Victor Osimhen, to get in behind the Atalanta defence. They also have the perfect resources in Kostas Manolas and Kalidou Koulibaly to stop the likes of Luis Muriel, Duvan Zapata and Alejandro Gomez. The game is tightly poised with Napoli to win at 2.50 and Atalanta to win at 2.55. One interesting thing to note is that Atalanta has not been fazed by away fixtures so far. They played Torino and Lazio away in consecutive games at the start of the season but won them both quite convincingly. The Juventus game aside, even Napoli have done well so far winning 2-0 and 6-0 beating Parma and Genoa respectively. Check out our NAP vs ATN Dream11 Match Prediction.

Captain options
Luis Muriel – Luis Muriel has been in excellent form this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist in the Serie A this season. He also scored twice for his country – Colombia, twice during the international break. He will be one player that Napoli will want to be wary of after scoring 18 goals in the Italian league in just 10 starts (34 appearances overall).
Dries Mertens – The Belgian has been an excellent asset for Napoli for 7 years now. In that time, he has scored 127 times while providing 80 assists with no signs of slowing down. Mertens has already notched up 2 goals and 2 assists in the Serie A this season in just 2 appearances. The 33-year-old will be a constant nuisance to Gasperini’s men and will look to get their third win of the season.
Duvan Zapata – Accompanying Luis Muriel up front is his Colombian teammate, Duvan Zapata. Having joined Atalanta on a permanent deal just this year, Zapata has been excellent for them scoring 18 times and providing 6 assists in just 25 starts last season. He has already kicked off this season with a goal and 2 assists and would love to better last season’s numbers.
X-factors (differential picks)
Victor Osimhen – The youngster made the switch from Lille to Napoli after scoring 15 goals and providing 4 assists. He has made one start this season and bagged an assist. With Lorenzo Insigne most likely to miss the game, Osimhem will have the opportunity to link up with the likes of Mertens and Hirving Lozano upfront.
Alejandro Gomez – At 32-years-old, Alejandro Gomez is an integral part of Gasperini’s system. He ended the Serie A last season with 7 goals and a whopping 14 assists and he has already made a mark this season with 6 goal contributions (4 goals and 2 assists) in just 3 starts. He will play behind Muriel and Zapata and look to provide them with some line breaking passes while also getting into dangerous positions himself.
Hirving Lozano – Having signed for Napoli in the summer of 2019, Lozano hasn’t had the start he would’ve hoped for. Starting just 10 games and managing to score just 4 is underwhelming but the Mexican will look to change that this season. He will look to use his pace to get in behind the right wing-back and help Napoli transition quickly on counter-attacks.
