MUN vs SOU Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Manchester United will be looking to build on the progress they made under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when they host a relegation-threatened Southampton in the Premier League at Old Trafford, in Manchester, England, on Saturday night (IST).
Manchester United: Miracle is almost achieved!
When Manchester United drew 2-2 against Southampton on December 1, a few days later Jose Mourinho was quoted as saying that it would be a “Miracle” if United were to finish in the top-4. Three games later, he was sacked, leaving the club in the lurch, and way behind in the race for the Champions League places.
But fast forward two months, and look at the Premier League table as things stand. The miracle may be the wrong word to define the progress made by United as it would undermine Ole’s effect and hard work.
The few things which were drawing United back were the atmosphere in the locker room and the freedom given to the players to express themselves on the pitch. Ole has done just that. The biggest beneficiary has been Paul Pogba. He now looks like a player who cost United the then world record fee for a football player. Not only he is playing well but has scored the most goals for United ever since Ole took charge.
The Red Devils have won 12 times in the 15 games under Ole, and are sitting just 1 point of top- 4, two points above 6th placed Chelsea.
Southampton:
Though there is still a lot of football to be played in the season, the moment which may prove decisive for Southampton was Wednesday’s fixture against Fulham.
Manager Ralph Hasenhuttl was asked before that match the importance of the “Six-pointer” against the Cottagers. But the former Red Bulls boss was quite canny in his words and described the match as “should-win game.” You can be sure that it was much more than that.
The Saints won the match 2-0 and moved 10 points clear of Fulham, and two adrift of safety. The team didn’t play particularly well but at this stage, the result is all that matters and the two first-half goals from Oriol Romeu (23’) and James Ward-Prowse (40’) ensured all three points.
The trip to Old Trafford kick starts a sequence of the tough fixture for Ralph Hasenhuttl and his men, After the game against United, Saints will be hosting another big six rivals in Tottenham Hotspur, followed by two away games in-form Watford, and relegation rivals Brighton & Hove Albion.

MUN vs SOU Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Manchester United vs Southampton Team News:
Manchester United:
Injured – Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a big injury list at the moment and more than half a dozen first-team players are out of the match. Antonio Valencia, Matteo Darmian, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Anthony Martial and Nemanja Matic all have been ruled out of this match.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – Phil Jones has recovered from his injury and is struggling for match fitness. The English centre-back is expected to sit out the match.
Note: Both Marcos Rojo and Marcus Rashford were named on the bench against Crystal Palace with the latter coming on as a second-half substitute. Rojo may have to contend with the bench but Rashford is expected to start. In that case, Diago Dalot may be sacrificed with Alexis Sanchez staring on the left wing.

MUN vs SOU Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:
Manchester United FANTASY PREDICTION:
Manchester United have struggled in home games against Southampton since Alex Ferguson retired, winning just once in the last five.
The reverse fixture ended in a 2-2 draw at St Mary’s Stadium, after going 2-0 ahead in the match.
Even if we consider United’s vast injury list, a home win is all we can see in this game.
