MIL vs SPL Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Serie A giants AC Milan will be aiming to get back to winning ways when they host a struggling S.P.A.L in the last league match of 2018 at San Siro Stadium, in Milan, on Saturday night (IST).

AC Milan:
The 18-time Italian champion’s transition period is taking too much time to mould the team into a consistent force once again. The managers are coming and going, flattering to deceive with the little good runs somewhere here and there only to be buckled down into pieces for the umpteenth time.

This proud Milan club is too big a force to fiddle amongst the midtable teams. Not many clubs in the world can boast a history as big as they have, seven European crowns are still the 2nd most in the world, behind only Real Madrid.

The Gennaro Gattuso is the latest manager in-line who has been brought back from the club’s illustrious past to steady the ship. The fiery midfielder has done a good job with the club of late but the recent results are threatening to ruin the good work of his early assignments.

Since losing 0-2 at home against their biggest nemesis Juventus on November the 12th, the Rossoneri have won just once in the next six league games, including three 0-0 draws against the not-so-big opponents. While the last match was the lowest point of all as they lost 0-1 at San Siro against Fiorentina.

As a result, Milan have slipped down the table, and to sixth with 28 points from the first 18 games. However, the good thing is that the above them, except Juventus of course, are not showing enough consistency to pull themselves clear from the top-4 challengers.

At this stage, Gattuso’s men are just three points adrift of fourth-placed Lazio and 8 points behind Inter Milan which is bridgeable considering we haven’t seen even the half stage of Serie A. AC Milan must win on a more consistent basis.

S.P.A.L:
For S.P.A.L, the story is flipping some haunting pages of late. This club has seen some very big ups and downs in its history. They have gone bankrupt two times since 2012, and two attempts have seen them renaming the club two times during that difficult period.

They had to wait 49 years for the top-flight football when they won the Serie B in 2016-17 and thus got a promotion to Serie A. The first season was all about survival, and they did by the scuff of the neck, avoiding the relegation by just three points. That was a warning sign for the club.

However, S.P.A.L started the 2018-19 campaign with a bang as they won three times in the first four games, keeping clean sheets in all those victories. But it’s been a drought since then as they have won just once in the last 14 leagues comes, and none in the last nine heading into this match.

As a result, S.P.A.L are slipping down the table with each passing week. At one stage they were in the top-4 and now they find themselves at 15th and just four points away from the bottom three.

AC Milan:
Injured – Gattuso will be demanding nothing but a strong performance from his players in this match. But his task has been cut out because of the long injury list.
Ivan Strinic, Mattia Caldara, Lucas Biglia, Giacomo Bonaventura, Fabio Borini and Andrea Bertolacci all have been ruled out with injuries.
Suspended – None.
Questionable – While playmaker Suso is carrying a knock and is expected to be assessed ahead of the match.

Still, we have selected Petagna who scored S.P.A.L’s kast league goal.
In the midfield, Bakayoko and Kessie remain the first choice for Milan.

Not many changes either at the back or in the midfield but we have Cutrone playing alongside Higuain.
