MCI vs NOR Dream11 Match Preview, Team News, Lineups
Manchester City hit the road this weekend as they take on newly-promoted Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday night (IST).
With Liverpool rolling over the dice for the fixtures this week with an early game against Newcastle United, it’s highly likely that by the time referee blows his whistle at Carrow Road, the reigning English champions may find themselves five points adrift at the top.
While the Canaries are finding the harsh reality of the gulf that exists between the Championship and Premier League. They slipped into the relegation zone following two consecutive defeats in the last two matches, and now face Pep Guardiola’s men in their next assignment.

Doubtful:

- Ben Godfrey sustained a groin injury while on international duty. He remains a major doubt for this game.
- Goalkeeper Tim Krul has an elbow issue and will most likely be assessed before the game.
- Grant Honley returned to the training after two weeks and may lack the match fitness to start the game from the off.
Ineligible to play!
- Patrick Roberts won’t be considered as he is on loan from Manchester City. He can’t face his parent club.
Possible INs and OUTs of this game:
- If Krul fails to recover, German shot-stopper Ralf Fährmann is likely to start in goal.
- Grant Hanley is in line to start the match at the back, but the identity of his partner is still shrouded under the cloud. Godfrey is a doubt, and if he is not ready to play, Farke may shoehorn somebody else as a central defender.
- Due to the lack of options in the midfield, both Alexander Tettey and Ibrahim Amadou may get a start here.
- Teemu Pukki, fresh from winning the Premier League player of the month award, is fine and will be leading the pack here.
Norwich City Probable XI:
Krul / Fahrmann (GK), Byram, Hanley, Godfrey, Amadou, Tettey, Buendia, Stiepermann, Cantwell, Pukki

- Bernardo Silva came off the bench in the last game and that is likely to change here. It means Riyad Mahrez may move down to the bench.
- Fernandinho is fit, but either Rodri or Ilkay Gundogan is likely to start in the midfield, while David Silva and Kevin de Bruyne are expected to start as well.
Manchester City Probable XI:
Ederson (GK), Zinchenko, John Stones, Otamendi, Kyle Walker, David Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Sergio Aguero
