Manchester City can make it four in four in the Premier League when they travel to West Yorkshire to take on Huddersfield FC at John Smith’s Stadium in West Yorkshire, on Sunday evening (IST).

Then came the first season in the top-flight. The Terriers were labeled as too weak to stand any chance of keeping their English top-flight status alive. But again they achieved it.

And that’s the reason that almost all the Huddersfield fans showed their sympathy when David Wagner was sacked this week.

At the moment, the Terriers are propping up the table with just two wins in the first 22 games of the season. And the task is too daunting for the caretaker manager Mark Hudson as his team is a huge 8 points behind safety.

For Manchester City, everything is clicking now. They have won the last five games in all competitions, including a season-saving 2-1 win over Liverpool.

Injured – Three players are certain to miss the home clash against Manchester City. Moroccan midfielder Abdelhamid Sabiri, Australian midfielder Aaron Mooy and the German Danny Williams all have been ruled out of this match with their respective injuries.

Note: With a new manager in charge, it’s hard to predict how Huddersfield will line up for this game. One of the players who will hope to keep his place in the starting 11 is James Puncheon who made his debut last weekend. Also, Steve Mounie is in very good form at the moment and should lead the side in this match.
Club captain Tommy Smith made his return from a hamstring injury and was on the bench in the last game. He could start here.

Questionable – Captain fantastic Vincent Kompany hasn’t featured since leading his side to the victory over Liverpool, a fortnight ago. The Belgian star is a doubt for this game and he may not be risked here.
Note:  Manager Pep Guardiola is spoilt for choices at the moment as both Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus are fit at the moment. But the Brazilian forward has scored seven goals in the last three matches and keeping him out of the starting 11 at the moment would be harsh on the player. If that’s the case, Sergio Aguero could find himself on the bench.
Also, Kevin de Bruyne has fully recovered from his knee injury and he could start here. Also if David Silva starts this will be the first time this season that both De Bruyne and David Silva play from the off.
