With Ligue 1 seems to be heading for the familiar shores already and so early in the campaign after PSG’s impeccable start to the new campaign, Lyon find themselves fighting on a different front.

After winning twice in their opening two games, Nimes have gone 7 games without a win.

This is their first season in the top-flight and they have already shown a real fight in their group. They stated their Ligue1 campaign in an absolutely thrilling fashion as they won 4-3 away against Angers. But the real feather in their cap came in the next match. They beat the giants of France, Marseille, 3-1 in their first home league game of the season.

But those two wins came in their first two games and since than it has been a slow fall towards the bottom and they will have to sort out before it’s too late.

Lyon: France didn’t include Nabil Fekir in their squad as the Lyon captain is still suffering from an ankle injury he sustained against PSG. He is expected to miss this match as well.

Amin Gouiri has been ruled out completely and won’t be making the matchday squad. Meanwhile, Lucas Tousart is suspended following his red-card against PSG.

Martin Terrier and Rafael both have been listed as questionable for this match. A late fitness test will be done to access their fitness.

Nimes: For the visitors, Pierrick Valdivia is out injured while Baptiste Guillaume and Lock Landre can’t be included as both are suspended for this match.
