LIV vs MUN Dream11 MATCH PREVIEW:
Liverpool brace themselves for a crunch Premier League match against two of their biggest arch nemesis as they host Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United at Anfield, in Liverpool, tomorrow on Sunday night (IST).

Liverpool:
December can be mercilessly cruel for Football teams, especially in the Premier League which embraces Christmas and the New Year with the heavy doses of high-octane action. This is a period which can either derail any club’s ambitions or if come unscathed, it’s hard to stop that team.

Liverpool have played four games in December so far this seaosn, starting with the Merseyside derby, two away trips to Burnley and Bournemouth was followed by the make-or-break Champions League decider against Napoli at Anfield. While the Reds will still be playing four more matches this month, a home clash against Manchester United next and they will be ending the assignments of this month with a home match against Arsenal.

So the four matches they have played were not easy by any means. The Merseyside derby has its own momentum and Liverpool managed to scrap it with a last-gasp goal from an unlikely hero Divock Origi. A trip to Lancashire in winter is very demanding and the Reds managed to win it as well, while the match against Bournemouth was always a banana-skin considering the form of the Cherries this season. And everybody knows the stakes that the Napoli matches carried.

Now with four matches successfully negotiated, Reds can’t afford to lose any momentum as Manchester City won’t be dropping many points until the end of the season.

Manchester United:
Many football pundits are predicting the same path for Manchester United which Liverpool endured in their top-flight title drought up until now. However, Jose Mourinho’s reign started with two trophies in the first season, a Europa League win in 2016 preceded by the League Cup win in the same year.

However, Liverpool also won a treble in 2001, the Champions League in 2005, FA Cup in 2006 and their last trophy came in 2012; a League Cup win. But it’s the Premier League which has deserted the 18-time English Champions, and many see Red Devils heading in the same direction.

At the moment, United are 6th in the table. But they are closer to 13th placed Brighton & Hove Albion more than the leaders Liverpool who are a staggering 16 points ahead of their long-standing rivals. A negative result in this match may perhaps end the top-4 ambitions as well.

But Jose Mourinho seems to have something in his sleeves for the Liverpool clashes, always proving to be their downfall. A story which started with his first year in England, his Chelsea team defeated Liverpool in the final of the League Cup. There have been others but none bigger than the 2014 clash at Anfield which ended Liverpool’s title charge.
Would it be the same this time around as well?

LIV vs MUN Dream11 TEAM NEWS: Injuries and Suspensions
Liverpool vs Manchester United Team News:

Note: Xherdan Shaqiri, Naby Keita and Fabinho all started on the bench and will be itching to play in this huge match.
Fabinho can also play at the right-back.
Key Players – Salah, Mane, Firmino

Questionable – Also, Diego Dalot, Scott McTominay and Matteo Darmian all are doubtful for the match.
Note: Paul Pogba could find himself on the bench once again.
Key Players – Rashford, Fellaini

LIV vs MUN Dream11 Playing 11 – (Probable) –
Liverpool– Alisson (GK), Milner, Lovren, Van Dijk, Robertson; Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Keita; Salah, Firmino, Mane
Manchester United– De Gea (GK), Young, Bailly, Jones, Shaw; Herrera, Fellaini, Matic; Lingard, Lukaku, Rashford

LIV vs MUN Dream11 FANTASY TEAM:

Team 1:
Salah, Mane and Firmino pick themselves up, while Rashford scored two goals against Liverpool last time around.
Mata has a very good record at Anfield as well, while Lingard provides the spark and the tenacity both in the midfield and as a playmaker.
At the back, Bailly is playing like he used to be in Spain, while Young is a threat and can send a corker into the penalty box. Van Dijk and Robertson – two of Liverpool’s best.

Team 2:
Not many changes.

INDIA FANTASY PREDICTION:
The form goes out of the window in these kinds of matches and we all know how much Jose Mourinho loves to thwart Liverpool’s progress.
But at the moment, United lack the personnel to match Liverpool’s intensity and a home win is our call.
