LIV VS CRY UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FOOTBALL MATCH PREDICTION- TEAM NEWS
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool
English Premier League
LIV VS CRY MATCH PREVIEW:
Premier League makes its return after the painful International break with the game between Crystal Palace and Liverpool serving as the first installment of the best watched football league after the two-week hiatus.
The game will kick off at 05:00 PM IST, and both the teams would be aiming for a win to climb up the table, although for completely different reasons.
With 30 points after 31 games, Palace are 16th in the table, just two points away from the dreaded zone. But the Selhurst Park side has played a game more than West Ham, 17th with 30 points, and Southampton, 18th with 28 points, so the game against the Reds is of ultra importance for Roy Hodgson and his men.
Liverpool, on the other hand, are 3rd in the table and just like their host in this match, have played a game more than the teams surrounding them.
The 18-times English Champions are eyeing a top-4 finish for the 2nd consecutive season. Arsenal are almost out of the race, and the only problem is Chelsea who are fifth and are 7 points behind Jurgen Klopp’s men, but have a game in hand.
So if Chelsea win their game-in-hand, the gap could be trimmed down to just four. So the Blues are very much in a fight for the coveted top-4 finish, and the point worth noting here is that the current English Champions will be hosting Liverpool in May, making the game a pressure-cooker situation for both the teams.
But the Reds would not want to be in that situation, and that’s why the games against the likes of Palace are the must-win games in their quest to play Champions League next season.

LIV VS CRY TEAM NEWS:
Crystal Palace:
One of the biggest reasons why Crystal Palace are reeling in or around the relegation zone all this season is their ever-growing list of injured players. Their most dangerous player Wilfried Zaha has missed a big chunk of games this season and his importance to the Eagles can be seen by the fact that Hodgson’s team hasn’t won a single game in the league since September 2016. Quite remarkable, isn’t it.
Other players who have been listed amongst doubtful are Jordan Schlupp, Alexander Sorloth, Joel Ward, and Connor Wickham.
While Scott Dann, Jason Puncheon, Bakary Sako, and Julian Speroni have been ruled out of the match.
PROBABLE XI
Hennessey (GK), Wan-Bissaka, Tomkins, Sakho, Aanholt, Townsend, Milivojevic, Cabaye, Loftus-Cheek, Benteke, Zaha
Liverpool:
Joe Gomez suffered an ankle injury on international duty, so he is definitely out of this match. Whilst, Emre Can didn’t play in Germany’s matches due to his back problem and is still a big doubt for the game. Other players who are amongst doubt are Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren.
PROBABLE XI
Karius (GK), Arnold, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Chamberlain, Wijnaldum, Mane, Salah, Firmino
