Leicester City team news: Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has received a mixed bag of news ahead of the match against Aston Villa. Starting from the positive front, hit-man Jamie Vardy is once again available and is expected to start the game. The 32-year-old England international missed the last three games with a minor calf complain.
But Rodgers will have to make to without the services of centre-back Wes Morgan, who picked up a groin injury during Leicester’s 2-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup.
In addition, the Foxes remain without long-term absentees Filip Benkovic, Matty James and Daniel Amartey.
Leicester’s likely changes:
Rodgers made wholesale changes to his team for the FA Cup match, so you can assume that the usual suspects would be returning for this game. Kasper Schmeichel will most probably replace Daniel Ward in goal, with Jonny Evans and Caglar Syuncu, along with Ricardo Pereira and Ben Chilwell returning at the back.
Ayoze Perez and Harvey Barnes should provide width on either side of Vardy, while James Maddison and Youri Tielemans playing as a double pivot ahead of Wilfried Ndidi.
