Los Angeles FC Team News:
- Right-back Steven Beitashour will be missing the game against Montreal Impact after he picked up an injury in the game at FA Dallas.
- Defensive midfielder Alejandro Guido is suffering from a right quad strain and will be assessed before the match.
- Other than the above-mentioned players, manager Bob Bradley has nearly a full-strength team available at his disposal.
Possible ins or outs of this game:
- When the team is on such a good run, there is no reason to change. However, LAFC struggled at times against FC Dallas. Defensively, they were not as astute we all know they can be. Expect Bob Bradley to ring in some changes here.
- One change will definitely come at right-back. Steven Beitashour is not fit but we don’t expect Bradley to name a like-for-like replacement. The most likely player to start at right-back is Latif Blessing who has been playing as a winger of late.
- Mohamed El Monir started the last game but he may be dropped down to the bench for Jordan Harvey.
- Star midfielder Eduard Atuesta is available for selection after recovering from a sprained knee. He is expected to replace Lee Nguyen in the starting 11.
LAFC have had a phenomenal season so far, and no wonder eight of their players are available for fan ballot for the 2019 MLS All-Star Game. Here is the list:
- Goalkeeper: Tyler Miller
- Defenders: Steven Beitashour, Walker Zimmerman
- Midfielders: Latif Blessing, Eduard Atuesta, Mark-Anthony Kaye
- Forwards: Carlos Vela, Diego Rossi
———————————————————————————————————————————————–
Probable XI: Tyler Miller (GK), Jordan Harvey, Eddie Segura, Walker Zimmerman, Latif Blessing, Eduard Atuesta, Mark-Anthony Kaye, André Horta, Diego Rossi, Adama Diomande, Carlos Vela
Montreal Impact:
- Defender Victor Cabrera is suffering from a knee injury and will be missing the match.
- Midfielder Clement Bahiya has been ruled out with a leg injury.
- Midfielder Samuel Piette will miss the first game for Montreal Impact since 2017 due to the accumulation of yellow cards.
———————————————————————————————————————————————
Possible ins or outs of this game:
- Former Gunners Bacary Sagna is available for selection after missing the last match with a suspension.
- Ignacio Nacho Piatti may come into the starting line-up for the suspended Piette.
- A change in the formation may be seen here from the visiting side as Remi Garde looks to stifle Carlos Vela, the league’s highest goal scorer with 14 strikes. In that sense, two holding midfielders could come into the starting 11.
- Micheal Azira may play alongside Shamit Shome Saphir Taïder.
———————————————————————————————————————————————
Probable XI: Bush (GK), Brault-Guillard, Diallo, Raitala, Lovitz, Shome, Micheal Azira / Nacho Piatti, Taider, Okonkwo, Choiniere, Urruti
Potential Game Changers: Top fantasy picks:
Carlos Vela: The league’s biggest threat at the moment as far as scoring goals is concerned. He is leading the charge with 14 strikes this season.
Diego Rossi: Second best player with 7 goals this season. A must in your team.
Nacho Piatti: The 34-year-old veteran was phenomenal at the start of the season before the injury forced him to miss the 10 straight league games. But he is back now and should be in your squad.
Stats and facts:
- Los Angeles FC have scored at least two goals in the last 10 league games.
- Los Angeles have not lost a home league game since August 2018.
- Montreal Impact have the third worst record amongst the teams currently lying in the playoff positions in both the conferences.

LAF vs MI Dream11 potential winner:
Montreal Impact’s philosophy of getting behind the ball and hitting the teams on the counter-attack could be a perfect set-up to frustrate the hosts.
However, LAFC have too much quality on the ball and should edge this game.
